AC301 Introduction to Acupuncture (4/40)
Prerequisite: OM 501.
An introductory course of Meridian Theory, including channel/meridian pathways, distribution of channels/meridians, branches, collaterals, muscle regions, and cutaneous regions in the human body and relationship with internal organs.

Acupuncture Point -I (4/40)
Acupuncture Point -II (4/40)
Prerequisite: OM 501, WM 231.
A two-quarters combined study for acupuncture points of 14 meridians, and non-channel points.
AC420 Acupuncture Energetics (4/40)

Prerequisite: AC 530, AC 531, AC 532
A detailed study of the usage of regular and special acupuncture points and their traditional functions and indications in treatment.

AC521 Acupuncture Techniques I (4/40)
Prerequisite: AC 530, AC 531, AC 532
An introductory course to various needling techniques. Clean needle technique is emphasized with equipment maintenance and safety. This course also includes precautions and contraindication and management of possible accidents in acupuncture treatment. Practice on how to locate and insert the needles into all acupuncture points(regular points and extra points) will be given.
AC522 Acupuncture Techniques II (4/40)
Prerequisite: AC 530, AC 531, AC 532
A continuation of Acupuncture Techniques I, including techniques of moxibustion, cupping, guasha. auricular and scalp acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, hand and foot, wrist and ankle acupuncture, and other advanced techniques.

Acupuncture Therapeutics II (4/40)
Prerequisite: AC 630
A two-quarters combined study, including the principles of the acupuncture prescription and treatment plan and a detailed study of the clinical acupuncture treatment planning of different syndromes and diseases with various acupuncture therapies, including filiform needle, moxibustion, auricular and scalp acupuncture, and etc.
